HSSN: What were you liking about your game tonight?

Maeve: Yeah, I think our team really prepared for this game. We knew Nauset was going to be a big league game, and we've been on a roll and we definitely wanted to keep it going. I kind of just relaxed a little bit, kept my energy up. I think the ice was well-seen tonight. The wheels were going and I just kept going. It was it was a great game.

HSSN: What position do you play?

Maeve: I play center.

HSSN: Is there a strength of your game that you would say...what do you do really well?

Maeve: I would definitely say my strength is just winning those battles with my body. I definitely think that's a good trait of mine on the ice and also I think I see the ice pretty well and find those open lanes.

HSSN: In terms of your team, how far do you think you can go this year?

Maeve: I think we can go as far as we want. As much effort we put in is how much is gonna get put out of it. And I think doing the little things is going to put us in a good position for future games.

HSSN: What player do you model your game after?

Maeve: Probably I'd say Caroline Harvey.

HSSN: Who does Caroline Harvey play for?

Maeve: She played for Wisconsin.

HSSN: Did you grow up in Falmouth?

Maeve: I did. I grew up in Falmouth. Both of my brothers played hockey, my dad played hockey, so I was around it all growing up. Just watching my brothers playing and seeing it all around definitely got me into it pretty fast. And I'm still looking up to him today.
